Race Day Schedule

Sunday, April 7th, 2019

10-11:30am: GRAZE  
Costumed Cow Corral open for preregistered and unregistered shirt and bib pick-up, photo-ops, costume judging and grazing with friends.  
11:45am: GATHER   
Opening Ceremonies with Cow Key Channel Girl.
12:00pm: RING & RUN 
The Ringing of the Cow Bells (race begins)
  • Heat 1: 1st Place Contenders (23.1 seconds is the record to beat.)
  • Heat 2: Pets with Humans (and humans with pets)
  • Heat 3: Relay Teams
  • Heat 4: The Walking Cow Stampede (Main Event)
  • Heat 5: Last Place (slowest across while maintaining forward motion)
12:01pm: PARTY    
Awards Party at Sunset Green Event Lawn: Live music, food trucks, full bar, photos with Mo the Sloth, award ceremony and more. Suggestion box for your opportunity to choose next year’s theme!

Help Set Up:

Water Station
Help with Hydration Station Sprayer
Set up trophy table at Hurricane Hole
Hand out info sheets 
Inform runners of locations, start times etc

Help keep people out of streets
Help direct people street crossings
Help clean up all trash 
Help close up the check in station

Your participation in the Cow Key Channel Bridge Run supports the Monroe County Sheriff's Animal Farm. In 2017 we raised LOTS of "moolah" for the animals (including proceeds from raffle of this monstrous trophy) and we're looking forward to doing it again this year!
